MORE THAN A REMOTE. 

A companion App that let's you manage, communicate, on board your devices to the network and connect devices to each other.  No experience exists in isolation, it is always embedded in a context and connected to everything else. The key is to remove friction and media breaks for the consumers and connect experiences in the most straightforward way possible.

User Experience

My Designteam in Shanghai was faced with the task to design the UX/UI for Panasonic IoT products from scratch. We defined the Look and Feel, redesigned the way our user connected with the devices and created an online marketplace to directly sell to the consumer through the APP.

The Panasonic Super App

The Ambition was to aggregate many different services into one touchpoint, offer many functions and collaboration between products. We want to  allow for third parties to sell their services and products benefitial to the consumer experience in one APP.

Teamwork

"More than a remote"

Working in close cooperation with MING Labs we designed a unique user experience with a deep understanding of chinese experience norms. The cultural differences manifest in different preferences regarding UX and service design, which produce the services you see on the Chinese internet today. We took several round desiging and recognizeable App Icon to that communicates Panasonics Brand in the App store.

Prototyping

Build, test, improve and repeat.

The whole process involved several interations of prototyping, long hours of brainstorming with our Software engineers in Dalian to surpass technical issues and fine-tuning of the initial Design.
