Warm Welcome
Designing a connection between people and cuisine. Our aim was
to explore and define a series of ‘creative platforms’ that will form the
foundation of our design concepts and design language definition.
Our ‘creative platforms’ have been informed and inspired by various drivers;
European trends & observations, consumer understanding, competitive
landscape, Japanese sense and Panasonic’s strengths/assets.

Insight - Simple to use and super convenient, so you don’t have to think. Appliances that are intuitive to use and integrate seamlessly into our lives, rather than requiring us to adjust to them. Supported by hidden technology that makes the experience of using them almost magical.
Insight - Kitchen spaces are becoming more open plan and less compartmentalized. The barrier between the kitchen and dining space is merging. Objects that stand ready to leap from kitchen space to centrepiece, are beautiful enough to be taken to the dining table and won’t look out of place.
Products that facilitate togetherness bringing family and friends together through food and drink, encouraging a new behaviour and a more interesting
way of doing things creating enjoyment to the everyday.
The Designteam in Shanghai was faced with the task to design the UX/UI for Panasonic IoT products from scratch.
MORE THAN A REMOTE was our Design idea, meaning that we wanted to be able to automate task and enable a collaboration between different products. Therefor we experimented with different interface ideas giving the user the best experience possible.
