The Task is to create the next Generation of Asus Smartwatches, keeping the rounded shape of the cover glass but giving the watch a more unique and sleek design.

The Nexus Brand is different from Google Main Brand. It has a history of appealing to a more technology type of user. During our Reseach in Asia we found out that most Smartwatch buyer want a product that looks more like a classic watch rather than a computing device. We build our aesthatics based on those findings.

From Research to Manufacturing
Teamwork is key, so during the whole design process there has been a close collaboration between our engineering team in Guangzhou and our Marketing and Planning Department in Shanghai. Several rounds of Market Research where we deeper understood our Chinese customer as well as hundreds Iteration or Prototypes to get the final design right.
